Intramural and Travel Team Girls Volleyball
We’ve had a great first week of practices!! 6th and 7th are working hard in the afternoons and we have nearly 50 8th graders out for the Travel Team, which practices at 6:45 AM!!
ALL PLAYERS need to fill out the Buddy Form by Sunday eve at 11:59. It’s in the Schoology Group, Westview Volleyball 2023 (Access Code: W68S-8V46-GCM4V )
*A couple of practices have changed for next week:
(We have SO many girls out for volleyball that we need to keep each grade level separate as much as possible. PLEASE CHECK EACH DAY to see if you come!
**8th graders NOT in Travel Team come 8/30 and 8/31 with 7th graders next week
Our FIRST Travel Team match is against Erie Middle School. 650 Main St, Erie, CO 80516 We will leave Westview after 8th grade lunch – on the bus by 1:55. Parents/families can come to watch. The games will start at 3:30. There is no cost. It should be over by 5:00-5:30. Parents may take their students directly home from Erie.
Intramurals: Players will know their team and schedule on 8/31 at practice. Each Player will receive a shirt. (These are $20 if not returned at the end of the season. )
Boys and Girls Cross Country
Cross Country is a great sport for students who enjoy the individual challenge of running while still enjoying the comradery and fun that comes with being on a team.
