The PAWS program is a school-wide student recognition and management program. We believe that by noticing and emphasizing the positive, we create a positive school atmosphere. At Westview, your child is held to high expectations in a very consistent and positive way.
PAWS is our Positive Behavior Support (PBS) systems approach to enhancing the capacity of our school to educate all students, especially students with challenging social behaviors, by establishing (a) clearly defined outcomes that relate to academic and social behavior, (b) systems that support staff efforts, (c) practices that support student success, and (d) data utilization that guide decision making.
