Bio
Hi! My name is Tami Root and I am a science teacher at Westview. I grew up in rural Montana. Went to school for wildlife conservation at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point. I finished at CSU when I got my first professional job working for the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation in Longmont. I also have a Master's Degree in Education and Curriculum Design from Regis University. I have two boys and we all love to be outside. We ski, snowshoe, hike, fish, rappel, bike, scuba dive, boat, and garden/raise animals as a pastime. If it's outdoors we probably do it. I look forward to meeting you on this educational journey called life.
