Bio

Hi! I've been interested in the profession of counseling for as long as I can remember, but my path to get here to be a School Counselor has been one that has been full of some great twists and turns. I received my Master's in Social Work with the intent to work in adoptive family casework. I was able to have the opportunity to do so and am still in touch with many of my adoptive families! In 2003, as I was about to embark on a career in Commercial Real Estate, I had the chance to do a long-term sub position for the school district and this is where I got my first taste of School Counseling. I continued on in a career in Commercial Real Estate after that time for about 15 years and did some HR work at a well-known shoe company in Colorado, before coming back to the school district. I realized that this is definitely where I wanted to be. I had the great fortune of working at the high school level for a year and then had an opportunity to come to work at Westview Middle School and have never been happier about the choice to come here. I love being here at Westview, it is truly a special place to be employed and I am fortunate to be able to come here each day.
