Parent/Teacher Conferences
There is still time to schedule your students conference. Winter Conferences will be held on Tuesday 2/4, Thursday 2/6 and Wednesday 2/12 from 3:45 – 8:30. We hope that you will be able to take advantage of this opportunity to meet with your child’s teachers.

Scholastic Book Fair is here
Our Scholastic book fair opens Monday, February 3rd! Students will be able to shop during their regular library times.
You can also shop our online fair from Feb . Just use this link: Westview’s online book fair.

The book fair will be open after-hours on conference nights: Tuesday from 3.30-6.00pm, and Thursday from 3.30-6.00pm. Be sure to stop by and check it out!

8th Graders: Applications are open for the Silver Creek Leadership Academy! This four-year program builds leadership skills and prepares you for the future.

Request for 2025/26 CETC Classes December 4 – February 4
1. Log into the Infinite Campus Student Portal at
ic.svvsd.org/campus/stvrain.jsp
2. Select the Academic Planning dropdown at left; click ‘Next’
3. Scroll down to ‘Practical Arts’ heading towards the bottom of the page
4. Select the text box for the upcoming school-year
5. Enter the CETC course name(s) or number(s) you are requesting
6. Select the course(s) you wish to request by clicking on the name
7. If you’d like to select an alternate choice, enter your choice(s) in the
bottom row labeled “alternates”
8. Click the “save” icon in the top left of the page to save requests.
NOTE: For year-long courses both A & B sections should be selected.
6th-Grade Science class students are making slow motion films on the phases of the moon. This will help the students understand how the earth, sun, and moon work together
It’s hot air balloon season once again.
8th-Grade and 7th-Grade students are using the design process to improve their engineering skills, and having lots of fun.
