Attending any open house is a great opportunity to learn about school programs, meet the teachers, and interact with coaches and club sponsors.
- Open House for Longmont High School will be on Monday, November 11, 2024 from 6:00 – 8:00PM.
- Open House for Silver Creek High School will be on Wednesday, November 20, 2024 from 6:00 – 8:00PM.
- If you missed any of the open houses you can contact the schools directly to schedule a private tour
8th Graders: Applications are open for the Silver Creek Leadership Academy! This four-year program builds leadership skills and prepares you for the future.
Courses include:
- Foundations of Leadership
- Community Leadership
- Global & Cultural Leadership
- Senior Capstone Project
Join us Monday, December 9, 6–7:30 PM at Silver Creek High School for a fun, interactive open house!
- Students: Experience hands-on activities led by current members.
- Parents: Q&A with staff, alumni, and parents.
Longmont High School and Silver Creek High School’s P-Tech Programs visited with 8th grade students on November 7th. They were discussing what P-Tech programs will be available next year.
- Application dates are November 11th – December 15th

Request for 2025/26 CETC Classes December 4 – February 4
1. Log into the Infinite Campus Student Portal at
ic.svvsd.org/campus/stvrain.jsp
2. Select the Academic Planning dropdown at left; click ‘Next’
3. Scroll down to ‘Practical Arts’ heading towards the bottom of the page
4. Select the text box for the upcoming school-year
5. Enter the CETC course name(s) or number(s) you are requesting
6. Select the course(s) you wish to request by clicking on the name
7. If you’d like to select an alternate choice, enter your choice(s) in the
bottom row labeled “alternates”
8. Click the “save” icon in the top left of the page to save requests.
NOTE: For year-long courses both A & B sections should be selected.
Queens of the Court
Girls Basketball is back and they are stronger than ever this year!
On Tuesday, December 3rd. 8th Grade orchestra performed at the Mountain View Orchestra Festival in Loveland. They gave an outstanding performance and spent time working with an orchestra clinician.
Did you know that Westview’s campus is home to about 400 trees? Students in Environmental club help take care of them.
