“This was my final concert at Westview, and I could not be prouder of the progress and passion that my students demonstrated on their final concert. My hope for my students is, of course, that you keep singing! At the very least, keep making music! Find something that brings you joy and pursue it!” ~ Ms. Neumann, Westview Choir Director

Ms. Neumann received a full-ride scholarship to pursue a Master’s degree in Choral Conducting at Colorado State University. We will miss her very much, and we wish her all the best with this next awesome step in her career!

Ms. Ellis stands proudly alongside 8th graders Adam Smith Chase Burkhardt, Isaac Landers, Zachary King, Jake Ruffing, and Lochlan Matranga who brought home the First Place trophy for Westview at the SVVSD District Geography Bee on Monday, May 13th (Westview also took First Place in 2022 and 2023). Additionally, the 7th grade team took Third Place missing Second Place by just one point. Congratulations to all our Westview geography whiz kids for yet another impressive Wildcat appearance!!
Students in Mr. Chavez’s and Ms. Root’s Earth Explorers STEM class presented their final projects in the form of a film festival on Wednesday, May 15th. The goal was to create a film that was related to their assigned scientist’s field of study. The kids worked hard to create some fantastic films!

After MANY punny years of “CNN10” and now “The World from A to Z”, news anchor Carl Azuz finally gave Westview a shoutout.  This student-oriented show focuses on current events and human interest stories from around the world.  The kids were super excited to be recognized.  Go Wildcats!
Paraeducator Ms. Massey captured this stunning photo of the rarely-seen-in-Colorado Aurora Borealis, also known as the Northern Lights, on Friday, May 10th across the street from Westview. This natural light display is caused by the interaction between charged particles from the sun and the Earth’s magnetic field. These particles are directed towards the Earth by solar winds. As they enter the Earth’s atmosphere, they collide with gas particles, such as oxygen and nitrogen, producing light of various colors, most commonly green and pink.
Silver Creek graduating seniors came to Westview for their grad walk on Friday, May 17th. CONGRATS SENIORS!!!
6th graders enjoy the last Challenge Day of the year known as “Ring Toss.” It’s become a Westview tradition to have this student/staff favorite as the first and last Challenge Days of the school year.

      Expect the best!
