BS in Education from the University of North Texas; M.Ed. in Special Education and Reading from Texas Woman's University; currently pursuing Ed.D. in Administration and Supervision of Special Education from the University of Northern Colorado. 

I grew up in Texas and have lived overseas in Japan and twice now in Colorado. I have been teaching for 20 years, most of that time within special education. I have taught all the way from kindergarten through high school and middle school is my happy place. This is my first year at Westview, and I'm so excited to be here! Outside of school, I enjoy reading, Sci-Fi, crocheting, and spending time with my family, my two daughters (one a freshman at CU Boulder and another a high school freshman) and our German Shepherd and mischievous cats.
