Halloween Costume Guidelines while your student is at school:
Here are some guidelines to ensure that we have fun:
- Hair Color: It’s okay to have your hair colored, but you may NOT bring any of the bottles/cans/containers that you use to color hair to school. The coloring must be done at home BEFORE you come to school.
- Make-up: Face make-up is discouraged.
- Masks: Masks are not allowed.
- You must follow the dress code:
- Costumes must not be offensive or disruptive.
- Keep your body appropriately covered.
- No hats unless it is a specific part of a whole costume.
- Shoes must be worn at all times.
- NO WEAPONS! Even fake/toy swords, hooks, guns, etc.,. are not allowed as a part of the costume as stated in District policy. When in doubt, ask Mr. Spencer or Mr. Eipper BEFORE the dress up day. Be original and have fun Westview!
