Westview was recently redesignated by the National Forum to Accelerate Middle-Grades Reform as a School to Watch.
What is a “School to Watch” ?
The Schools to Watch program identifies high-performing middle schools across the nation that are academically excellent, responsive to the development and needs and interests of young adolescents, and socially equitable. To become a School to Watch we underwent a rigorous application process that included a site visit by the Colorado Association of Middle Level Education. Our school was evaluated and deemed to meet the high standards required to become a School to Watch. Westview was first recognized as a School to Watch in 2015, and in 2020 we were redesignated indicating that we continue to meet these high standards. Westview will be recognized virtually on Tuesday, June 29 from 2:30 – 4:00. Click on the link and then select the “Colorado, Utah, Arkansas, Illinois” link to join the virtual celebration.
