BS in Education from the University of North Texas; M.Ed. in Special Education and Reading from Texas Woman's University; currently pursuing Ed.D. in Administration and Supervision of Special Education from the University of Northern Colorado. 

I grew up in Texas and have lived overseas in Japan and twice now in Colorado. I have been teaching for 20+ years, most of that time within special education. I have taught all the way from kindergarten through high school, but middle school is my happy place. Outside of school, I enjoy reading, Sci-Fi, crocheting, and spending time with my family, my two daughters (one a junior at CU Boulder and another a high school sophomore) and our German Shepherd and mischievous cats.
