Bio

I am starting my 17th year of teaching at Westview Middle School. I am certified to teach social studies as well as language arts. Currently, I teach language arts in the D-Wing, and I am also a sponsor for Westview’s National Junior Honor Society.  I was born in Michigan, where I lived until I moved to Boulder, CO when I was in middle school. I attended middle and high school in Boulder and then continued my education at the University of Colorado. I have always been a big fan of reading and writing, and I am so happy to be able to have a job where I can share that with all of my amazing students. I have two school-aged children of my own, and my husband, children, and our crazy dog are proud to live in Longmont and be a part of the awesome Westview community.
