This program is designed for students who might need a little additional support and encouragement to help them have a successful start to the new school year. For one week we will work with a select group of students to build their foundational skills and confidence in reading, writing and math. The program has been very successful for years. Students who have participated in Jump Start have demonstrated significant improvement in both grades and academic achievement.
The Jump Start program will be held at Westview and will run from July 29 – August 2. Students are in class those 5 days from 8:00 – 11:00 am. The time will be split between math and language arts (reading and writing). The best part is that we are able to offer this program at no cost for parents.
Unfortunately, we only have the capacity to offer this program to 40 of our incoming 6th grade students on a first-come first-served basis. Students can pre-register prior to June 21 or on July 29 from 7:30 – 8:00 am. Please contact Sandy Roy or Mark Spencer at 303 772-3134 to register.
