Congratulations and a big thanks to all who participated in the Schoolwide spelling bee. There were four champions at each grade level, representing both blue and silver teams. All of the participants did a fantastic job in the spelling bee, with two seventh graders, Graham DAniel and Aiden Hanesll, tying in the initial round.

On November 5, Westview Middle School hosted the Colorado Association of Middle Level Educators' annual Schools to Watch Conference. A group of 250 educators from around the state came together to transform the student experience. As a currently recognized School to Watch, Westview educators had the opportunity to highlight the rigorous learning that happens every day in St. Vrain Valley schools.
On Thursday, Nov. 3 our STEM Explorers were at the University of Colorado to collaborate with their scientists. They are working to create a short creative film highlighting a topic in science. Theses films will be shown at the STEM Explorers Film Festival on Thursday, December 10 at Westview
The 6th Grade band put on an excellent "Informance" Tuesday night. We call it an "informance" because it is a performance combined with so much information for our band parents. Hence the term "Informance" By any name they did a great job!
