“This group of Plains to the Park students hiked a little over 4 miles through snow and windy conditions on Monday, February 19th.  They had quite an adventurous day and retrieved video footage of mountain lions, bobcats, coyotes, deer, elk, moose, chickaree squirrels, and a hawk.  Experience and involvement are keys to outdoor learning in this program.” ~Mr. Cribby

“On Wednesday, February 21st, 145 middle school orchestra students and a dozen high school students gathered in the Westview Gym for the annual Stringathon concert, a performance of 10 pieces that become progressively more challenging. They were joined by special guest musician, Dr. Elliot Moore, Music Director and Conductor of the Longmont Symphony, who also spent the afternoon in a Meet and Greet with the students. Students gave a truly spectacular performance in a concert that is uniquely Westview.
