Sunscreen must smell as tasty as ice cream to animals roaming past motion sensor cameras at Rocky Mountain National Park given all the slobber they leave on the lenses.
"Animals will often lick the cameras, and the only thing that I can think of is that we all must still have sunscreen on our hands when we handle those cameras," said Dave Kline, a math teacher at Longmont's Westview Middle School.

St. Vrain Valley Schools is hosting its first ever VEX Robotics Showcase from 5:30 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, March 9. Open to the public, the event an evening of the same fun, hands-on robotics play, learning and experimentation that St. Vrain students relish day-in and day-out, in both class and extracurricular settings.
Congratulations and a big thanks to all who participated in the Schoolwide spelling bee. There were four champions at each grade level, representing both blue and silver teams. All of the participants did a fantastic job in the spelling bee, with two seventh graders, Graham DAniel and Aiden Hanesll, tying in the initial round.
